Chequing Accounts
For funds that are on their way somewhere real soon, our chequing account calculates interest on the daily closing balance, and pays it monthly.

Savings Accounts Demand Deposit
For small amounts of money that are going to be on deposit for a few months, interest is calculated on the minimum monthly balance and paid monthly.  ’

Daily Interest Savings
For small amounts of money that will only be around for a few days, calculated on the daily balance and paid monthly.

Youth & Prime Accounts Fat Cat
A fantastic, fun way to introduce children to the concept of money management. It’s a special savings account aimed at young people in the 0-12 age group. No service charge for withdrawals . Allows family and friends to make deposits too!

Prime
Responding to the changing financial needs of senior members is something that fits well with the basic of credit unions. Starbuck Credit Union is please to provide seniors with discounted or no-charge services as well as financial products with features designed especially for you.  Term Deposits A high-end interest rate instrument used for funds that will be on deposit for fixed periods of time. May be withdrawn before the “due date”, with penalty.

GICs (Guaranteed Investment Certificates)
Our investment with the best return. Funds are committed for a period of time between 30 days and 5 years, and can only be withdrawn in the case of emergency.

RRSPs
These deposits, designed for the deferring of income tax, come in a savings format that is not locked in, and a GIC version, with a great return on your investment.

Starbuck Credit Union offers you professional lending staff, trained to find creative ways to assist you, and provided with the products to meet your needs. If we don’t have the right product, we can usually design one to meet that unique need.
